In the heart of northern Sardinia, between the fragrant winds of the Mediterranean maquis and the crystal-clear waters stretching toward Corsica, lies La Maddalena: a unique archipelago shaped by the sea and nature, where every cove holds a story and every dive becomes an encounter with an extraordinary ecosystem.

Here, the sea is not merely a natural backdrop, but an essential part of the islands’ identity. It sets the rhythm of daily life, speaks the language of the land, and preserves the memory of those who have lived and sailed these waters for generations. Fishermen, sailors, and seafarers have built a deep and authentic connection with this environment over time a bond rooted in respect, experience, and profound knowledge of the Mediterranean.

The archipelago is part of the National Park of the La Maddalena Archipelago, one of the Mediterranean’s most valuable marine protected areas. Its waters are home to vast Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows, groupers, barracudas, eagle rays, nudibranchs, and an astonishing biodiversity that makes every dive different from the last. Granite rocks sculpted by the wind continue beneath the surface, creating canyons, walls, passages, and seabeds that seem to belong to another world.

Diving here means connecting with a living territory, where the sea unites nature, people, and memory. Every boat trip becomes a journey through legendary islands such as Caprera, Spargi, Budelli, and Santa Maria places where nature still preserves a rare and precious balance.

AREA 11 Diving Center was born precisely from this bond with the sea and the archipelago: from the desire to guide every diver in discovering not only the seabed, but also the most authentic essence of these islands.

Because here, every dive is not simply an activity, but a way to experience the purest Mediterranean guided by the sea, nature, and the emotions that only this archipelago can offer.
